Programs for Adults 18+ with Special Needs

Spring 2016



The program meets at the JCC as well as at planned community locations throughout Westchester County. Participants enjoy a wide choice of destinations as well as dinners and social nights at a model-simulated apartment, 43 Wildey Street, Tarrytown. The group is supportive, focusing on fun and peer group building experiences.  Contact Tricia Gressel at 914.907.3917 for calendar and fees. Intake is required for new registrants.

Keeping it REAL in The Neighborhood (KIRTN*)
for H.S. Students & Graduates

KIRTN is a collaborative project of the JCC on the Hudson and the Union Free School District of the Tarrytowns. Through after-school and weekend offerings, KIRTN makes a real commitment to preparing our folks with special needs for the adult world. By enabling peer group development, emotional growth, learning and practicing life skills, and providing opportunities to engage with the wider community, KIRTN offers a place ot belong. Our "model apartment" is at 43 Wildey Street in Tarrytown.
