Connections: Adults 18+ with Special Needs

 

 

Social outings for adults. This supportive group meets at fun destinations all over Westchester, plus evenings in our model apartment in town. Trips include plays, bowling, train trips to NYC,
movies, and special events. Focus in on developing friendships, promoting conversational skills and independence. Saturdays, twice a month. Contact Tricia Gressel at 914.907.3917 for event schedules and fees.

Keeping it REAL in The Neighborhood (KIRTN*)

for H.S. Students & Graduates

KIRTN is a collaborative project of the JCC on the Hudson and the Union Free School District of the Tarrytowns. Through after-school and weekend offerings, KIRTN makes a real commitment to preparing our folks with special needs for the adult world. By enabling peer group development, emotional growth, learning and practicing life skills, and providing opportunities to engage with the wider community, KIRTN offers a place ot belong. Our "model apartment" is at 43 Wildey Street in Tarrytown.
