Students who participated in karate instruction with Sensei
Bob while in the JCC Early Childhood Program are invited to continue
their studies after school. This high-energy class for beginners focuses
on skill development, discipline, strength, flexibility, and most
importantly, self esteem. Associated with the New York Goju Karate
Association.

Karate

Learn discipline and control by practicing movements that
develop mind-body coordination. This non-competitive program encourages
healthy exercise and builds a positive self-image. Children with mild
physical or developmental disabilities will be assisted by additional
staff and require a brief intake before enrolling. enrollment of
children requiring 1:1 will be contingent upon our ability to engage
appropriate staff.

Explore Jewish culture through crafts, cooking, stories, and holiday
celebrations. Learn about Israel, its people, and a little Hebrew
