Did you know? |
Inspiration Israel |
| The JCC delivers
nearly 4,000 noon-time kosher meals to homebound elderly in
Yonkers. Students of
the JCC's School of Music and Performing Arts have appeared on
Broadway and gone on to attend the High School of Performing Arts in NYC,
and Julliard School of Music. The school currently
provides 60 private music lessons each week. |
Teachers
from Temple Beth Abraham, Woodlands Community Temple,
Congregation Kol Ami, Shaarei Tikvah, CSI, the JCC on the
Hudson, the JCC of Mid-Westchester, and the Board of Jewish
Education spent a week working with educators in Jerusalem to
develop activities their students will participate in together.
The students, ranging from pre-schoolers to teens, will get to
know each other and share their learning through ongoing
projects, video tapes, and webcams. |
