¨ Maxine Silverman’s poetry and essays have been published in many journals, anthologies, and Enskyment: Online Archive of American Poetry. A recipient of a Pushcart Prize, she is the author of four previous chapbooks (Survival Song; Red Delicious published in Desire Path, the inaugural volume of the Quartet Series from Toadlily Press; 52 Ways of Looking; and Fragments Shards Artifacts Evidence). Transport of Aim was published by Parallel Press, poetry imprint of the University of Wisconsin Library. In addition to poetry, she creates bricolage and visual midrash. ¨ Meredith Trede’s book, Field Theory, was published by Stephen F. Austin State University Press. As a founder of Toadlily Press her chapbook, Out of the Book, was in Desire Path, the inaugural volume of the Quartet Series. Journals that have published her work include Barrow Street, The Cortland Review, Gargoyle, and The Paris Review. She has held residency fellowships at Blue Mountain Center, Ragdale, Saltonstall, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Virginia and France, and was awarded the 2012 Nicholson Political Poetry Award.
